22 May 2012The Council has chosen to combine its Allocations and Development Management Policies into one single Development Plan Document.
The document will specifically identify new land use site allocations for housing, employment and boundaries for other land use designations such as the Green Belt and AONB. It will also provide development management policies to replace those currently saved from the Sevenoaks District Local Plan.
The Council has now completed the first round of consultation on all of the different components of this document. These are the allocations, the development management policies and the proposed sites of protected open space.

Supplementary Site Allocation Consultation (29 March 2012 – 10 May 2012)
The Council consulted on Site Allocations (Options) between February and April 2010 (see below). Since that consultation different proposals have come forward for a number of the potential allocations.
The Council is currently consulting on nine sites where a different land use allocation is proposed to that previously identified in earlier consultations and introduces a new proposal that has yet to be subject to public consultation.
Comments made on these proposals during the consultation will be taken into account when the Council prepares the Allocations and Development Management DPD for publication, and further consultation, in Autumn 2012.
