07 September 2008The Council operates a daily planning reception in its Sevenoaks offices and on set days at the Edenbridge local office.
As from 1 July 2008 there will no longer be a Duty Planning Officer available in the Sevenoaks Planning Reception, however the Information Officer on duty will be able to provide general 'non-specific' advice.
For detailed advice on the acceptability of a planning proposal you will need to submit a pre-planning application enquiry for which they may be a charge.
A fee may be charged for the production of decision notices, plan copying and history searches and other documents.

The planning reception service in the Council main office in Sevenoaks is available for general 'non-specific' advice, to research planning history and to view planning applications.
Planning reception is open Monday to Thursday 8.45am to 5pm and Friday 8.45am to 4.45pm.
We will require at least two working days notice to view files in Planning Reception. The period of notice may be longer if the file is archived. We will inform you if this is the case.
