08 October 2008There are two ways to summit planning application forms and pay your fees to Sevenoaks District Council via the national '1App' system: over the Internet or by completing paper forms.

Most '1App' planning application forms are available online via the Planning Portal website. They can be completed and submitted online together with the necessary documentation and the correct fee. Click on the Planning Portal link below and follow the on-screen instructions.

Paper forms
Most '1APP' planning application forms can be downloaded via the Planning Portal website and then posted back to the Council with the necessary documentation and payments. Alternatively paper copies of the forms are available from the Council's Planning team on request.

Please note that from 6 April 2008 all planning applications submitted to the Council must be done so using only '1App' application forms. Applications submitted on or after 6 April 2008 that are not submitted on 1App forms will be regarded as invalid.
Below is an excerpt from the Communities and Local Government's Guidance for local planning authorities detailing the National Validation lists. The national lists set out statutory requirements for applications and an application cannot be considered as valid without meeting the requirements.
