07 February 2012Sevenoaks Conservation Council have carried out an historic, photographic and descriptive survey of buildings in the town centre. The survey was initiated and part funded by the District and Town Councils, together with Sevenoaks Society and the Chamber of Commerce. Much of the work is the result of voluntary effort by local architects and historians.
The survey is based on black and white record photographs taken in 1997 and deals with the modern commercial centre of the town. Notes on the architecture, history and evolving occupation of each building have been added by members of Sevenoaks Society and others.
