Wasps
If you are concerned about wasps, old nests are never reused but a new nest may be made close to it. Wasps do not really start causing problems until mid June. Until that time the wasps that you see flying around will probably be queens looking for a spot to make a new nest.
During the busy summer period, you may have to wait several days before we are able to carry out the treatment. Please note that we are not able to offer an emergency service for this work.
Bees
Swarms of Honey Bees are often seen between May and June. Guidance on what to do can be obtained from the Kent Beekeepers Association website or from the local Beekeepers Association - you will find them in the Yellow Pages. Please note we will not kill swarms of bees.

Snakes or adders
Residents experiencing problems with snakes or adders should call FROGLINE on 01733 558844. The line is office hours but has an option to leave a message after hours. They will advise and will send out one of their local volunteers to assist if there is an emergency.
Foxes
If you have problems with Foxes you can obtain information on how to deter them from coming in to your garden by contacting one of the following:

Bats
If you think you may have Bats, please contact English Nature for guidance on 01233 812525. Please note that all Bat species in the UK are protected by law and you may not do anything to disrupt or harm them, this can include using timber preservation treatments in the loft.
