08 October 2008Anyone who has purchased food from a shop or a restaurant in Sevenoaks District that is contaminated with a foreign object, mouldy, smells bad or is 'off' can report it to the Council for investigation by completing the on-line form below.
We ask that your keep the food in a fridge or freezer so that the Council can examine it and investigate how the contamination occurred.
Please note that in completing the form below your personal details will not normally be passed to anyone outside the District Council without your permission.
You should, however, be aware that the person/business that is the subject of your report may realise who the complaint is from.
It is possible that your details may be passed to another enforcing authority if the problem you are reporting is not one that falls to Sevenoaks District Council to investigate.
The District Council reserves the right to pursue an investigation into any issues reported to us where we believe that there may be a risk to health.
The Environmental Health Team will usually respond to your report within five working days.
