New Ash Green residents can get fit and active with weekly health walks that take place in the town.
The free walks take place every Wednesday at 10.30am. They begin and end at New Ash Green Library, and last no longer than one hour.
There is no need to book, you can just turn up and walk, and all ages and abilities are welcome to attend and everyone is encouraged to walk at their own pace.
Health walks have already been running successfully in Swanley since September 2004 as part of the Council's Healthy Lifestyles Project.
Please note that there is to be a walk on Boxing Day, Friday 26th December 2008 instead of a walk on Christmas Eve (Wednesday 24th December 2008). Walkers will meet as usual, outside the library at 10.30am.
The walks are co-ordinated by Sevenoaks District Council and Ash-Cum-Ridley Parish Council.
