08 January 2009As part of the Choosing Health agenda, a number of dance classes have been developed through multi-agency partnership working. These classes have been created to give residents in the Sevenoaks District an opportunity to try something fun and new.

Strictly Dance Funk offers the chance to have fun by learning salsa, pop, jazz and Latin American dance techniques, at Edenbridge and White Oak Leisure Centre and soon to be starting in Dunton Green. The classes costs just £2 per person thanks to Choosing Health Funding. A free creche place is also available at the leisure centres, although spaces are limited and people are advised to book in advance by calling either Edenbridge leisure centre on 01732 865665 or White Oak leisure centre on 01322 662188.

Just Dance
Every Wednesday, starting 10th September 2008
6.30pm - 7.30pm at Edenbridge Leisure Centre
Due to the popular demand for an evening dance class, we are pleased to announce that a fabulous new class; Just Dance will be starting at Edenbridge Leisure Centre on Wednesdays. This choreographed dance class is fun all round and perfect for dancing your stress and worries away at the end of the day. It is for anyone over the age of 16 and is for any ability. The class is FREE to all in one members and £2.00 per person for centre and non-members. There is no need to book, just simply turn up! Every Thursday at White Oak leisure centre, Swanley (any age)
3.30pm - 4.30pm for Absolute Beginners
4.30pm - 5.30pm for Improvers
5.30pm - 6.30pm for Experts
Every Friday at Edenbridge Leisure Centre (any age)
12.30pm - 1.30pm for Beginners
1.30pm - 2.30pm for Improvers
Every Friday at Sundridge Village Hall, Main Road on the A25
10.30am - 11.30am for any ability and any age

A laugh a minute for only £2 per class, Line Dancing is a great way to have fun and meet new people. No booking is required, just turn up and strut your stuff!
EZ Stepz
Adults EZ Stepz, every Monday from 8.15pm - 9.15pm at White Oak leisure centre, Swanley
Youth EZ Stepz for 8-11yr olds, every Wednesday from 5.00pm - 6.00pm and 12-15yr olds every Wednesday from 6.00pm - 7.00pm at White Oak leisure centre, Swanley
Both classes are a choreographed non stop hour of R&B and freestyle hip hop dancing. Classes cost £1 for the youth classes and £2 for the adult class. No booking necessary, just turn up!
