Regularly drinking more than the recommended daily amounts can have health risks. Excessive alcohol use can lead to life-threatening conditions.
NHS advice is that men should not regularly drink more than 3-4 units a day and that women should not drink more than 2-3 units a day.
If you are worried that you might be drinking too much, you can speak to your GP.
