09 February 2012The Council's Constitution sets out how the Council operates, how decisions are made and the Council's procedures that help ensure its operation and decisions are efficient, transparent and accountable to local people.
To view the Council's Constitution, visit the Public Documents page on the Council's Committee Management Information System then select 'Constitution' in the 'Folders' section (left side of the page).
The Constitution was formally adopted on 25 September 2007.
