Payments are due in as set out on your Council Tax bill. You may pay by 10 instalments, two half-yearly payments or one annual payment. If you wish to change your method or frequency of payment from that shown in the payment instructions on your bill, please contact the Council Tax section.
If you pay by any method other than Direct Debit, payment will take up to seven days to reach the Council's bank account, so please make sure that your payments are made in advance of the due date.
Direct debit
The Council's preferred method of payment. It is a convenient way to pay your tax and the cost of administering payments is low therefore helping to keep your Council Tax bill down.

PDF 168K file details) here, complete it and send it back to the Council. Once the instruction is in operation, you should not need to worry about arranging payments - let the Council and the bank do that for you.

By Automatic Bank Transfer (BACS) or Standing Order
Please instruct your bank to make payment to Sort Code 20-76-55, Sevenoaks District Council A/C No 10180858 and ensure you quote your your account reference as shown on your bill.
At a bank
