09 February 2012The Council's management structure is made up of two Directors who report directly to the Chief Executive. The Council's services are then organised into three departments, the Chief Executive's Department, the Corporate Resources Department and the Community and Planning Services Department.
Robin was appointed Chief Executive of the Council in June 2003, prior to that he was Head of Corporate Strategy at Guildford Borough Council.
The Council's Corporate Resources Director and Community and Planning Services Director report to Robin.

Pav joined the Council from Rother District Council in June 2004 when he was appointed as Corporate Resources Director.
He has overall responsibility for the Council's finances, Policy and Performance, Council Tax and business rates sections, electoral services and land charges sections amongst other services.

Community and Planning Services Director and Deputy Chief Executive - Kristen Paterson
Kristen was appointed to the post of Community and Planning Services Director in March 2002 having previously worked in a number of senior management positions in New Zealand.
She has overall responsibility for Development Control, Environmental Health, Community Development, Housing and Communications amongst other services.
