06 January 2009Sevenoaks District Council recognises the vital role volunteers' play in our community. We support the work of the voluntary and community sector within the District through our Community Grants programme.
We are committed to working in partnership with the voluntary and community sector to ensure that the needs of volunteers and the sector are considered at every level of decision making within the District.
Together with other key statutory organisations operating within the District, the Council has developed a Compact with the voluntary and community sector. Maintaining our vibrant voluntary sector and encouraging inclusive communities is one of the key aims of the Sevenoaks District Sustainable Community Action Plan 2007-2010
