Business rates, or Non-Domestic Rates, are collected by Sevenoaks District Council on behalf of central Government.
Businesses can apply for rate relief if their rateable value is below £15,000 and they meet certain qualifying criteria. If any business is having problems paying its rates they should get in touch with the Council straight away to discuss their situation.
