Statement of Licensing Policy
Every three years the Council publishes its Statement of Licensing Policy, which sets out the policies the Council will apply to promote the four licensing objectives:
- the prevention of crime and disorder
- public safety
- the prevention of public nuisance
- the protection of children from harm.
The most recent Policy Statement was presented to Full Council on the 13 November 2007, and took effect from 7 January 2008. It will remain in force for a period of 3 years.
