Operators of public weighing equipment must hold a certificate of competence issued by Kent County Council Trading Standards.
Applicants will be expected to show that they can operate the weighbridge safely and correctly and complete all necessary paperwork satisfactorily.
A list of weighbridges currently available for public use is provided by Kent County Council Trading Standards. Please contact the individual operators direct to make sure the weighbridge is still available to the public, and will be open when you want to use it.
There is no fixed scale of fees throughout Kent so you will need to contact the weighbridge operator for the current charges.
