Business Link is an impartial, publicly funded business support organisation, charged with helping established local businesses to develop and grow.
It works closely with Sevenoaks District Council to contribute to the local economy by offering information, practical advice and support that will make a difference to business performance.
For those simply wanting business information they can access a huge range of topics from our website at www.businesslink.gov.uk/southeast or by attending one of our locally held events or seminars on current topics of interest. See the latest programme at www.eventskent.co.uk.
For more specific and practical business support a team of experienced generalist and specialist advisers is available for face-to-face meetings. This could take place either in a business clinic or, if appropriate, on a client’s own premises.
Business Link advisers can help businesses at any stage of their development – from those that have recently started trading to more established business seeking help with specific issues or needing to discuss their company’s overall direction objectively with an impartial expert.
Engaging with a Business Link Adviser can also open up access to a network of third party organisations able to deliver further support if there is mutual agreement at the initial meeting that such help will be beneficial. The adviser will stay in touch and offer free and continuing support depending on client needs.
